The Jobs Plan Only Matters for Public Workers

The American Jobs Plan is an initiative by the Joe Biden Administration to get Americans back to work. During the height of the virus pandemic in 2020, tens of millions of Americans were out of work, and around 80% of all private businesses were forced by government to completely shut down, with many of them being unable to reopen and eventually going bankrupt. This has created a huge mess in America in terms of jobs, and it's only gotten worse from Trump to Biden in the White House. Of course, mainstream media will sing Joe Biden's praises as some great unifier who is bringing jobs back at a record pace, but the facts of the matter say differently, and only a few will benefit from Biden's jobs plan.
To be clear, the American Jobs Plan is part of an infrastructure bill to revitalize a variety of roads, buildings, schools, and other essential infrastructure in America. While this is certainly needed in many places, it only caters to one segment of society: Government-employed workers. The fact of the matter is that jobs are going to be created for a lot of different local government employees, new secretaries, and new overseers of projects, along with people from the public sector who work for the government. Though when it comes to people being hired by private industry, there is nothing currently on the table from the Biden Administration that addresses these concerns.
Just the opposite, in fact. Rather than Biden loosening the economic strings that bind us all so that people can start getting back to work, he is instead planning on signing a series of executive orders to shut the economy back down for the private sector, while the new trillion-dollar-plus infrastructure bill will keep government employees at work. This is something that the government has been criticized for endlessly, yet a criticism that never sticks and forces them to change. One might assume that when the vast majority of the mainstream media doesn't inform the public about these facts, it's easy for government to get away with it. But no one should forget that Republicans and Democrats, conservatives and liberals, both gave themselves thousands of dollars in pay raises, while working less than ever, during the height of a global pandemic just last year.
It doesn't matter where one stands on the political spectrum. They all did this, in and House and the Senate, and both presidents Trump and now Biden are perfectly okay with these sorts of things. They're also all okay with shutting down the private sector but spending trillions of dollars so that government employees can keep their heads about water.
Why does this matter? This is the United States of America about which we're speaking, whose Constitution is clear that the government is supposed to be by the people and for the people. The fact that more people are not upset about a government that prints money by the trillions just to work for itself, while ignoring Americans, should outrage more than it has. Though the media runs interference for the government by maligning America's unvaccinated as some sort of domestic terrorists while refusing to report on these stories.
While regular Americans are going to start losing jobs again, and the government keeps printing more money to give to itself, inflation has gone up more over the past two months than it has over the past ten years. The average family of four is paying hundreds of dollars more every month just to live. People cannot afford to pay their rent, and the eviction moratoriums are far from the answer, as now small-time landlords are going bankrupt and their properties are getting purchased by organizations like Blackrock for pennies on the dollar. Something bad is going on here. No one wants to talk about it.
The Credit Given and the Blame Game
The funny thing when you watch mainstream media is that they're giving Joe Biden credit for the private sector jobs that have come back in states like Florida and Texas, despite the fact that Joe Biden wants those states shut down like last year. But while media is busy giving Biden credit for the net jobs gained in one story, the very next story is about how Texas and Florida are both evil for not locking their economies down and having more people supposedly die from COVID.
What is happening here? It seems to be business and usual, just more of; and, pretty soon, a lot fewer jobs to boot.
